Korma Sutra

The resturant was family friendly and they treated you like family. Special detail and love was shown to all. the courses of food kept comming until you were completely full, and they brought more. Owner was funny and very pleasent. I would reccommend this resturant to all. Loved this !!

What an awesome and friendly spot for some of the best Indian food I've had in Kansas City! My wife and I went here on a random night where we did not want to cook and were craving some good butter chicken and Korma Sutra did not disappoint!

We really loved the Tandoori Chicken and Butter Chicken, But the hospitality is the one key thing to note, it's like you're getting welcomed into the family or seeing family after a long time! They served us mango lassi and the most amazing chai tea and rice pudding I've ever had that warmed my soul and let us wash our hands with limes and fresh warm water. It was amazing, and made me feel welcomed.

We will most certainly be back!

Excellent food, excellent service! I hadn't realized that there was still a Korma Sutra in the KC area. So many extras! - papadums, chai, pakora, kheer! So happy to have found them again after many years without being. Highly recommended!!!!!

Awesome dining experience. The service is one of a kind - throughout our meal they brought different things to sample for free; from mango lassis, to chai tea, rice pudding, and more!!

Everything was flavourful and delicious, and even medium spice level packed a punch. The meal concluded with an at table hand washing and even a lemony (I think vodka) shot lol. We left stuffed, with so many leftovers to enjoy at home.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

Was craving some home cooked India food the other night and this place did not disappoint. Everything from the drinks to the food was top tier quality and delicious. You start off with a crispy chip of some sort with an Indian style salsa, the flavor was incredible I don't even know how to describe it. I order a mango lassi as my drink, it was so creamy and helped out with containing the spice level for my entree. We were able to share one entree and a side of garlic onion naan and leave with leftovers still. We order Chicken Korma medium spice level and boy was it SPICY!! I would order mild next time because I almost couldn't handle it. When we were checking out they brought out complementary chia tea, it was some of the best chia tea I've ever had. The service was a little pushing when ordering but other than that it was a great experience and to be fair we were one of three groups at the restaurant at the time. I will definitely be back soon.

My favorite Indian restaurant. Best service, very friendly and caring staff. Food is always warm and tasty. The mango lassi keeps me coming back. Music makes you feel like you're in India! Very comfortable and clean, great for big parties or quick lunches with friends and family.

We enjoyed Korma Sutra, but it didn't blow our socks off. The atmosphere left much to be desired as the room we were seated in was also being used for storage. The service was good, but a bit slow. The food was good but not great. There are better options for Indian food, but if you're close to Korma Sutra, have a craving, and don't want to venture far, it will do.

Great food. The owner is a hoot, very friendly and funny. Love that all of the extras are included with your meal.

The food was great. My palate for spicy foods is not very high, I told them my American mild not theirs and my meal was perfect. The owners presence is part of the experience he's funny and hands out balloons nice family restaurant, easy access off 87th St.

Absolutely delicious and completely stuffed!

I went there hoping for the buffet to be back, it was not. However, the food was delicious and the little extras they do is wonderful! Most definitely a place I will keep coming back to!
