Love the food, staff are nice. We've been going for years. Tikka Masala, Daal Turka, vegetable korma, chicken tandoori, lamb vindaloo, samosas, etc... all great!

Food - consistently good even as leftovers the next day.
Service - Nice and cordial - a nice touch is well refilled water beverages/glasses
Ambiance - Average but glad that there's not music I cannot understand blasting.

Been going here for years, usually get Tika Masala (excellent), on a dice roll got chicken tika tika.

With an option of either Naan or Rice - a huge helpin' o rice! Great 4 yo leftovers.

Garlic Naan is great flavor and their other Naan breads and appetizers are spot on.
I would love to see IF they were dish to dish compared with Korma Sutra just west on 87th.

Also their chai after the meal is really worth a try

Love it! Solid options for basics. I am not an aficionado of traditional Indian food, but for the American/UK version of fan favorite dishes like butter chicken and tikka masala, you can't do better. Takeout is quick but always made to order.

Great food, spice level, quality, taste with good service and decent ambience. Not a great location and looks but really good food.
Fresh & warm tandoori roti and warm naan. Medium spice level was good. Kadhai chicken and appetizers pakore totally awesome.

We have had India food in places all over the world including India. This is by far one of the very best we have eaten. Always fresh and great flavor. We had the Beef Kadahi, garlic Naan and Vegetable PaKori and the sauces they came with were delicious. Service is always great here, friendly and traditional hospitality this not our first experience. Been coming here for years. Their lunch buffet is awesome too.

Our go to Indian food place in the area. Their garlic naan is absolutely incredible. The dinner for two is a great place to start if you are new to Indian food to try a few dishes or aren't sure what to order. We recently dined in, however, we typically take it to go. Either way, you won't be disappointed!

India Palace serves incredibly tasty food with fast and friendly service, making it a hidden gem for great meals. However, the restaurant's decor is outdated, so if you're after a fancy atmosphere, it might not be the ideal spot. Personally, my favorite Indian spot Kansas I especially love their chicken tikka masala and garlic naan.

Visiting at noon on a Friday, we were promptly greeted and shown a table. We both ordered Butter chicken today-one mild and one medium. Both spice levels seemed spot-on. There is no buffet. We felt that service was attentive, but that the entrée sauce was thinner than Ive had in any other Indian restaurant that Ive been to. It was also a few dollars cheaper than most. The garlic nan was tasty but sort of soggy.
Overall, compared to other Indian restaurants in the metro, I think that youll find average average food and attentive service.

One of the best Indian restaurants in the Overland Park area, and one of the few that I know of. Everything is good here. I am obsessed with the masala chai tea. I love drinking that and the free refills. I always get a chicken tikka masala here and it has always come out perfectly. The naan breads are also good here with different flavor options. Definitely a lunch or dinner staple restaurant for OP. And I always have enough for leftovers!
