About this event

Hello Kafkateers!

Kafkathon 2020 allows participants to learn, build, and teach something new. Participants will compete to solve a challenge and they will have 48 hours to complete it. The Kafkathon will be open to both individuals and organizations representatives. To effectively provide assistance and mentorship throughout the event, we prefer participants to work in teams (we suggest teams of five people). If you are an individual looking to join a team before the event, please contact the Community Team at community@confluent.io.

Registration is limited to 40 attendees on a first come first serve basis and you will be notified about your status via email.

By participating in Kafkathon 2020, you agree to abide by our Code of Conduct. Teams can be disqualified from the competition at the organizers' discretion. Reasons might include but are not limited to breaking the competition rules, breaking the Code of Conduct, or other unsporting behavior. By participating, you also confirm that you are ok with us publishing and promoting your profile and challenge results in whole or in part on our website, blog, and social media properties, and also the Kafka Summit website.
